We are an award winning 5 star family owned Holiday Park located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

We are surrounded by beautiful open countryside, and are minutes by car to the superb beaches of Shanklin, Sandown and Ventnor.

We are an ideal base for families and couples with plenty of nearby walks, cycle trails and local attractions. Excellent public transport links from the site.

Waverley Park is within walking distance of mainland ferry connections, local bus routes and Osborne House, Queen Victoria's favourite home.

The internationally renowned yachting centre of Cowes with its many shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants is a comfortable stroll away via a chain bridge.

A gate at the foot of the park gives access to the unspoilt esplanade, popular for fishing, sailing, crabbing and water sports.

We also have free on-site Wi-Fi available. Please come to reception to get the password and you will be able to access the internet from anywhere on the park.

The showers and toilets are open 12 months of the year and have motion sensative lighting to enable access at all hours.  During the winter months the shower block is heated from 7:15am to 9:15am and 5pm to 7pm.  

There is a hairdryer available on a 20p meter and in the ladies a plug socket for hair straighteners and other grooming devices (phones can be charged for a small donation in the charity box in both reception and the bar). 

Waverly Park Showers

Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and must never be left on site unattended. Dog owners will be responsible for removing any accidental fouling.

The swimming pool is open from the 28th of May to the 11th of September 2022, for people staying on-site only. 

All children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.

Get back to nature at this beautiful countryside location. Situated on the north side of the Isle of Wight, overlooking the Solent, Thorness Bay Holiday Park, sits on a woodland hillside with lovely views out to sea.

There’s plenty of family fun to be had on the park. Join the kids on the sports court for football or basketball, or let them burn off some energy at the adventure playground. After a busy day, enjoy a tasty meal in the Boathouse Bar and Restaurant before a spot of evening entertainment.

The camping field is 9 acres of unspoilt meadow, tree lined and flanked to the north by ancient coppice. From the top, the field is gently sloping and levels out in the middle. The bottom of the field slopes off and plateaus in a few places before the boundary river.


Dogs are welcome on the campsite and there is a walking and toileting area (where normal picking up dog poop rules apply) adjacent to the campsite. We ask that all dogs are on leads and under control at all times though.

The facilities are simple, clean and functional with three men’s and three ladies showers in the main ablution block.

You’ll find our Adgestone Club campsite in a quiet countryside setting on the beautiful Isle of Wight close to the popular Sandown resort.

A very well laid out campsite with some secluded pitches, orientated towards families. Adgestone is the only Club Site with a swimming pool (which will be open and heated from the Spring Bank Holiday until the first week in September) and a children’s paddling pool.

Fishing is available on-site in a private carp pool. Current Environment Agency rod licence is required before fishing can commence. No maggots or floating baits are allowed, nor are ground baits and loose feed.

Adgestone fishing pond is a doughnut-shaped pond with well-developed banks.

From the 16th June, the river yar at the bottom of the site is available to fish for free.
